Ever since working life took over kitchen life it seem's I've been eating out a lot more and cooking even less. So in an effort to add some variety to my trusty blog offering I will be sharing with you some of my favorite places to drink a beer at and get a bite after a long day of serving beers to others.
It's a rare case when you find a bar that offers outstanding beers, wine and other various booze products along with food that will be complete satisfaction. In my experience of Boston, Cambridge and Somerville bars, Lord Hobo is this place. It's a creative menu for a really great price.
My ode to Lord Hobo...
I love you Lord Hobo.
You are so accommodating to other people in the industry. You serve food late (really, outstanding, mouth watering, leaves my belly so so happy food) , you make an amazing cocktail (ahem, London 77) and your service is oh so friendly!
Pork belly! Mussels! perfectly fried french fries... oh and the garlic aioli! And the cob salad is one BIG SALAD!
You have quality, high abv beers for days and an inventive cocktail menu that makes me love liquors I never thought I could love.
Don't ever leave.
